KYOCERA AVX's capacitors provide an open failure mode capacitor with excellent reliability
The self-healing property of KYOCERA AVX's SMD film dielectric provides an open failure mode capacitor with excellent reliability. The intrinsic characteristics of film provide a capacitor that exhibits low DC bias, excellent thermal behavior, no piezo effect and low ESR, ESL, and dissipation factor. SMD film capacitors are available in three dielectrics: PEN, PET-HT, and PPS, and in case sizes ranging from 1206 to 6054.
