POSCAP™ TQC Series Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitors

Panasonic polymer tantalum solid capacitors offer high capacitance in two case sizes

Image of Panasonic POSCAP™ TQC Series Polymer Tantalum Solid CapacitorsPanasonic TQC series POSCAP™ conductive polymer tantalum solid capacitors product line provides an alternative small case size of 3.5 mm x 2.8 mm and large capacitance in a high-voltage capacitor. They can endure +105°C at 2,000 h, which enables their use in small space applications such as notebooks, tablets, and small desktop devices. Their large capacitance capability makes them useful for storage devices, servers, and base stations.

The TQC series POSCAP capacitors utilize a sintered tantalum anode and a proprietary high-conductivity polymer for a cathode. This enables POSCAP capacitors to be thin, small, and low profile and, at the same time, have low ESR and superior high-frequency characteristics. These features make POSCAP a good candidate for digital/high-frequency applications. Innovative construction and processing from Panasonic yields a very low ESR level in polymer tantalum technology and exhibits excellent performance in high-frequency applications. Offering a high volumetric efficiency for capacitance, POSCAP capacitors are available in various compact package sizes for a small PCB footprint.

Additionally, POSCAP parts demonstrate high reliability and high heat resistance, making them the ideal chip capacitor for digital, high-frequency devices and more.
