Rectified AC output at high frequency is required in the welding equipment market. For these demanding applications , Vishay film capacitors solutions include EMI filter capacitors such as: the compact X2 F339M series with a range of capacitance up to 40 µF; the Y2 BFC23386 series up to 0.47 µF; the X1 BFC23381 series up to 1 µF. As DC link blocking caps, Vishay offers together with aluminum capacitors the MKP1848 with a range up to 400 µF. On request higher capacitance customized solutions (i.e. 1000 µF / 700 Vdc in one box) are available. To protect the IBGTs against over-voltage during switching stage, Vishay offers film foil and double metallized snubber capacitors with 2 or 4 pins. As output capacitor, the MKP1847 for AC-filtering, 230 VAC to 350 VAC and capacitance up to 70 µF.
