They are available in a range of NEMA frame sizes, including NEMA 17, 23, and 34.

Highly efficient means higher torque and speed output with minimal power draw, which translates to lower operating costs and less heat generated. Less heat combined with the brushless design offers long-term and maintenance-free reliability.

Lin Engineering BLDC motors are specially wound to lower resonance and vibration to help ensure quiet and smooth operation in benchtop machines and other devices in a working environment.

BLDC motors provide a high torque output over a wide speed range allowing them to fit the needs of a variety of applications off the shelf. These motors also have excellent speed stability thanks to the wide torque range.

Speed Control

BLDCs can be used for myriad applications requiring precise speed control. These motors are also used in manufacturing to help speed up or completely automate a process. For continuous production, BLDC motors are commonly used on conveyors and belt feeder applications. For laboratories, these motors can be used in testing machines like centrifuges and orbital shaking platforms. For AGVs and mobile applications, BLDCs are used as wheel drives.

Position Control

When fitted with an encoder, position feedback can be used for near servo positioning capability for a fraction of the cost. On packaging machinery, position control offers precise indexing of web material. On indexing turntable and pick and place applications, BLDCs are excellent for precision and speed.

Power Control

BLDC motors provide electromagnetic resistance for cardio machines like treadmills and ellipticals. Because of the high-speed capability of a BLDC, adding a gearbox is a natural way to give torque advantage to complete heavy-duty jobs.

Lin Engineering BLDC motors can be used with pre-tuned matched drives and extension cables for a package solution or with the drive of the customer's choosing.
