SMT Spring Contacts

Harwin's range of SMT spring contacts allow for flexibility when creating electrical and grounding connections. The simple and compact design provides the perfect solution for tight spaces and blind mating applications. They are tolerant to both wiping and sliding actions and are durable for up to 10,000 mating cycles. The contacts are provided on tape and reel for automated placement and reflow soldering to decrease production costs.

Spring contacts are available in a variety of configurations with different working heights, spring force capabilities, and current carrying capacity. Antenna contacts with a positive stop feature prevent over-stressing and permanent set of the component. Multidirectional contacts allow for vertical or horizontal use. The box-style design prevents twisting and snagging of the free end. The C shape designs allow for simple and effective contact with metal shields or frames.
