Legacy DRAM Featuring DDR3

ISSI’s DDR3/3L is ideal in many applications including industrial controls, driver monitoring systems (DMS), and human-machine interfaces (HMI)

Image of ISSI Legacy DRAM Featuring DDR3ISSI's DDR3 is implemented in a variety of applications that require high-speed external memory. The DDR3/3L interface is supported by most leading manufacturers of system-on-chip (SoC) like Ambarella, Analog Devices, Intel, Microsemi, NXP, TI, Renesas, STMicro, and AMD. ISSI offers a broad range of DDR3 and DDR3L DRAM from 1 Gb to 16 Gb.

DDR3/3L has also gained tremendous traction due to its advances in performance and its useful features. The DDR3 has more than double the maximum data rate of DDR2, yet the DDR3 offers reduced power consumption compared to DDR2. DDR3 also features adjustable on-die termination (ODT) with dynamic control and calibrated output impedance buffers. Fly-by topology is supported with DDR3, allowing multiple DRAM modules to easily be placed on the board while reducing the potential switching noise. The DDR3 can be put in DLL disable mode for memory access at low clock frequencies for testing or debugging and a reset input was added for increased stability.
