CUI Devices CMEJ Electret Condenser Microphones | Digi-Key Daily

CUI Devices offers their CMEJ series of low cost and compact electret condenser microphones. These omnidirectional microphones come in compact packages with diameters as small as 4 millimeters and with profiles as low as 1.3 millimeters. They are available in a variety of termination packages including surface mount, solder pad, pin type, and wire leads. They feature sensitivity ratings up to minus 25 dB, offer signal-to-noise ratios ranging from 60 to 70 dBA, and have an operating frequency from 100 to 10,000 hertz. Other features include a voltage range from 2 to 4.5 volts, current consumption of 0.5 microamps, and a 2.2 kiloohm output impedance. These highly-economical and compact microphones are designed for medical devices, industrial applications, and consumer and household electronics.
