Die FX8/FX8C-Serie von Hirose ist ein Steckverbinder im 0,6 mm Raster mit einer Stapelhöhe von 3 mm bis 16 mm. 60 bis 140 Kontaktpositionen sind verfügbar. Ein minimaler Selbstausrichtungbereich von 0,6 mm ist vorhanden. Die Kontaktfläche ist im Gehäuse eingeschlossen, um vor Staubhaftung zu schützen. Die Koplanarität der SMT-Lötstelle hat eine hohe Genauigkeit von weniger als 0,1 mm. Die wirksame Stecklänge beträgt 2 mm.
