NXP™ i.MX 8M Mini and Plus Arm® Industrial Single Board Computers
Gateworks’ Venice GW7100 series compact industrial single board computers are engineered for extreme environments
Gateworks' GW7100 series industrial single board computers (SBCs) are a member of the Venice family and are engineered for embedded applications in extreme environments. The GW7100 series features an NXP i.MX 8M Mini or Plus Quad-core Arm Cortex®-A53 SoC processor operating at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB to 8 GB of LPDDR4 DRAM, and 8 GB to 64 GB of eMMC system Flash. All Gateworks SBCs are made in the USA and designed with features to withstand industrial environments, such as a temperature operating range from -40°C to +85°C and a long life availability of over ten years.
Four standard ordering options are available, but Gateworks SBCs are highly customizable and allow flexible wireless connectivity. The Mini PCIe socket on the GW7100 can be used for peripherals such as 802.11ax/ac/b/g/n Wi-Fi radios, 5G/4G/3G/CATM1 cellular modems, or any other module with a Mini PCIe form factor. Gateworks also has adapters that allow for the use of modules with an M.2 form factor.
Gateworks recommends all new customers start with an industrial SBC development kit. All Gateworks development kits include the industrial SBC and all the accessories an engineer needs to get up and going quickly, including a JTAG programmer, AC power supply, and appropriate interface cables. The Gateworks support wiki (https://trac.gateworks.com/wiki) includes an extensive guide on how to get started with out-of-the-box development.
