NXP's i.MX 8M Plus family focuses on machine learning and vision, advanced multimedia, and industrial IoT with high reliability. The i.MX 8M Plus family is part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. It is built to meet the needs of smart home, building, city, and industry 4.0 applications.
The i.MX 8M Plus evaluation kit is feature-rich and an excellent starting point for those wishing to create a system design based on the i.MX 8M Plus applications processor.
The i.MX 8M Plus evaluation kit is a two-board solution that consists of a compact computing module and a larger baseboard that brings out the broad connectivity needed for product evaluation. The computing module uses fast, power-efficient 6 GB of LPDDR4 memory alongside the i.MX 8M Plus applications processor, PMIC, eMMC, and M.2 connected Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® module for out-of-box connectivity.
The EVK enables HDMI via the HDMI port on the baseboard or through an optional MIPI-DSI-to-HDMI accessory card for simple out-of-box bring up.
