Account Development Sales – Central European Market

Position Overview:

In this position, you will provide direct support to a specific list of international clients located in Germany, Austria & Switzerland as well as providing support to the Assigned Accounts Business teams located in central European countries.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to...

  • Analyze potential businesses who could become Digi-Key customers and work on a Value Proposition
  • Identify customers who could be assigned to a dedicated Digi-Key resource to offer additional services
  • Monitor and analyze Sales activities and performance and manage KPIs
  • Educate and inform customers about Digi-Key solutions, services and tools and align with customer needs
  • Work with internal and external tools & resources to manage orders, quotations and other sales related activities
  • Build internal and external professional relationships and be a Digi-Key ambassador
  • Follow up on Sales leads and opportunities
  • Proactively engage and deepen the relationship with the customer
  • Manage the internal sales process
  • Be aware about US export laws and educate customers about it

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in German/English verbal and written
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently but also enjoy being part of a team and be a dedicated team player
  • Excellent listening and communication skills to gain a full understanding of customers’ needs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to learn and perform multiple tasks quickly and accurately
  • Able to complete work in a timely manner and follow through to completion
  • Able to work with customers on a ‘one to one’ basis to develop relationships
  • Able to determine customer needs and coordinate them with Digi-Key services
