Rücksetzbare PTC-Sicherungen

Rücksetzbare Kaltleiter-(PTC)-Sicherungen sollen den Stromfluss stoppen, wenn ein bestimmter Grenzwert überschritten wird (Überstromschutz). Die Sicherungen erhöhen ihren Widerstand mit ansteigender Temperatur aufgrund des Stromanstiegs. Der Auslöserstrom liegt zwischen 14 mA und 50 A mit einer Auslösezeit von 8 ms bis 90 s. PTC = positiver Temperaturkoeffizient
